Never Abandon Ship! Tokka.

So recently Ive been paying more attention to LOK from the avtar series of shows and it brought back all the feels I had from the original series which were. Make Tokka happen damn it!



I know its not everyone's ship but those two were the only ones I felt were naturally compatiable and would end up together just by been around each other long enough. I expected that it wouldn't happen in the original series but its clear that at some point in the future even if its just once Sokka and Toph would end up together, even just for one night anyone could see they had something going even if it was buried in the background and yet I never felt any kind of spark with Sokka and Suki beyond the writers putting them together, without that I don't see the two ever becoming a couple.

Again I usually don't do the whole shipping thing but I bow vigorously to character development and I know when characters are written out of character to suite writers. They say the age gap was too much but the avatar and Katara had an almost identical gap and its nothing that can't be fixed post show as I said nothing wrong with letting a few years pass first. Katara and Aang I never got either, she seemed far more big sister than any real attraction between them, yet another pair to suite the writers over the characters themselves.


Now there is no reason not to make Sokka at least Suyin's father, it wouldn't destroy the series or anything it would just give us frothing insane shippers some closure so we can stop chasing the series like zombies hungry for validation
